New Outlook updates help you quickly reserve real workspaces and view notes. Also, you can now create forms in the Office mobile app.
Reserve a physical workspace directly from Outlook: Since some organizations make it easy to get back to office buildings, meeting health and safety guidelines and keeping people healthy and comfortable is a top priority. To help, we’ve added the ability to reserve physical workspaces at the specified capacity and time in Outlook. This helps you limit the number of people who work together on site to provide a safe and productive experience for employees. After administrators create workspaces in Exchange Online, users will see a workspaces option when they schedule an event on their calendar, just as they would when booking a meeting room. This feature is available now. https://w-w-office.com/setup

You can easily check your notes while composing emails in Outlook on the web – Anyone who takes notes in apps and on the device knows that it can be difficult to find the note you need when you need it. The new OneNote feed conveniently collects your notes via Sticky Notes, OneNote Recent Pages, and even Samsung Notes so you can easily refer to them while composing an email in Outlook.com or Outlook on the web. You can use search to find the note you are looking for, and even copy and paste a note into an email message. You can also create a new sticky note directly from your OneNote source to capture any ideas or thoughts you have while working in Outlook. Samsung Notes syncing is currently in beta with full functionality coming soon.
Easily Create Forms On The Go in the Office Mobile App – Earlier this year, we introduced a new mobile app called Office, designed to be your go-to app for getting work done on a mobile device. This month, we announced the addition of forms to the Office mobile app. Easily create, share, and analyze forms, along with other Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files, all from one place. From the mobile app’s ‘Actions’ page, form builders can easily create and submit a form, and from the app’s ‘Home’ page, quickly check the number of respondents and knowledge of the collected information. To get started, make sure the Office Mobile app is up to date or installed for your iOS and Android mobile device.

Make it easy to find and consume your organization’s data with new data types in Excel – People are dealing with more and more sources of organizational data than ever before. Ensuring that data can be discovered, updated and consumed is critical, but also challenging. This month we announced that you can now create data types using data from Power BI and other sources that can be shared with users, simplify the collection and consumption of information, save time, and provide the trusted data people need to make the best decisions. And because these data types are linked to live sources, users can easily update spreadsheets, workflows, and other solutions by clicking Update Data.
